Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

City of origin – Istanbul

Departure from your city of origin on a scheduled flight to Istanbul. Arrival at the airport, meet and assist service, followed by transfer to the hotel.

Day 2

Istanbul – Half-day city tour – Bed & Breakfast

After breakfast, departure to visit the Rüstem Pasha Mosque. Afterwards, enjoy a boat cruise along the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe and Asia. During the cruise, you will admire the Sultan’s palaces and traditional wooden houses. The tour ends at the Egyptian Bazaar, also known as the Spice Bazaar, with over five centuries of history and still in operation today; it is the second largest covered bazaar in Istanbul after the Grand Bazaar. Rest of the day at leisure. Transfer back to the hotel is not included. Accommodation.

Day 3

Istanbul – Free day – Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Time at leisure to explore the city, with the possibility to join the optional full-day excursion “Jewels of Constantinople” with lunch: visit the ancient Hippodrome, dating back to the Byzantine era, which was the center of civic life in the city and where not only horse races and gladiator fights took place, but also celebrations in honor of the Emperor. Today it still preserves the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, and the German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Visit the Blue Mosque, built in 1609 during the reign of Sultan Ahmet, who aimed to surpass Hagia Sophia by constructing a mosque with six minarets. Panoramic visit (exterior) of Hagia Sophia. Continue to Topkapi Palace (entrance included), residence of the Ottoman sultans until the 19th century, where most of their valuable treasures are kept. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer to visit the Grand Bazaar, a covered market built in 1660, considered a small city under hundreds of domes, with around four thousand shops, streets, squares, and 18 gates. End of the tour at the Grand Bazaar.

Day 4

Istanbul – City of origin

Breakfast at the hotel. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Spain. End of services.

  • Spanish nationals may travel with DNI or passport (minimum validity of 6 months). Other nationalities should check travel requirements.
  • The itinerary order is general and may vary depending on the arrival day in Istanbul without affecting the visits included.
  • The Bosphorus cruise tour day will be confirmed upon arrival through our local representative.
  • Important holiday notes: • The Grand Bazaar and Egyptian Bazaar will be closed during holidays (Ramadan Feast: 20/MAR, 21/MAR, 22/MAR; Feast of Sacrifice: 27/MAY, 28/MAY, 29/MAY, 30/MAY; Republic Day: 29/OCT). • The Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays. • Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and on 20/MAR, 27/MAY, 29/OCT, 01/JAN/2027. • Beylerbeyi Palace is closed on Mondays and on 20/MAR, 27/MAY, 29/OCT, 01/JAN/2027.
  • The “Jewels of Constantinople” excursion is not operated on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays.
  • Spanish citizens are exempt from visa requirements for Turkey; other nationalities should check requirements.
  • On arrival in Cappadocia, dinner is not included for guests arriving after 19:00 hrs.
  • Breakfast on departure day from Istanbul to Cappadocia is provided as a picnic box, not in the hotel restaurant.
  • Hotels are subject to availability.
  • Triple rooms are usually double rooms with an extra bed.
  • On the Bosphorus cruise day, the service ends at the Egyptian Bazaar and does not include return transfer to the hotel.
  • No special dietary options are guaranteed; meals are mainly buffet style.
  • The itinerary order after arrival may change depending on operational conditions.
  • Hot air balloon excursions are not guaranteed and depend on weather conditions and availability.
  • Hotel check-in is from 15:00 hrs. Check-out is before 12:00 hrs; late check-out may incur an extra charge.

  • Upon arrival in Istanbul, passengers must go to Gate number 9 at the meeting point.
